Why isn't the pharmacy answering the phone? ›

If you can't get through to your pharmacist on the phone during business hours, it's likely a sign that the pharmacy is extremely busy, short-staffed, or both. Oftentimes, however, customers call the pharmacist to ask questions that really should be directed elsewhere.

If you seem unable to refill online

There are a few reasons why the checkbox is grayed out next to a prescription that you previously refilled online. To make it easier, only prescriptions that can be refilled or renewed (no refills remaining or expired) can be submitted for refill/renewal.

If your prescription is missing key information or hard-to-read, a pharmacy can refuse to fill it. Other reasons why your pharmacy may not have your prescription ready include insurance rejections or drug shortages.
