Position Overview
The Department ofMathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State Universityseeks applications to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the rank ofAssistant Professor. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. inmathematics or a closely related field, and a demonstrated potential forexcellence in research and teaching in Analysis.It is expected that this faculty member will be significantly engaged in research,teaching and service in the graduate and undergraduate programs.
Education and Experience Requirements
Required: A Ph.D. in Mathematics or related fieldis required at the time of application. Candidates are expectedto observe the general principle of building a culturally diverse intellectualcommunity, in line with OSU’s SharedValues (see below).
Desired:Theideal candidate will have an exceptional research record in mathematicalanalysis, as well as evidence of strong teaching ability and mentoring.
